Don't Eat Yellow Snow

You know this, right? Yeah. Me, too. But . . . I googled this just to see if I would come across anything as bizarre as what happened right outside my own door - and you see what I found above??? There are all the old jokes about men writing with their own pee in the snow. (I know a really good one about Clinton but we'll save that for another time). And then, there is the whole "alpha dog" thang. I believe my husband may have taken both of the above to new levels. If you've ever read any of my blogs, you know that I have a thing for dogs. Love 'em. Have too many of 'em. My two male dogs have been having peeing contests as of late. Marking their territory etc. In the house, no less. It's a bit of a problem and they have been spending quite a bit of their day in time out (i.e. their kennels). Then we get a snow storm and the little dogs don't like deep snow so they started peeing on the deck rather than going down the stairs and into the back yard. Okay, no big deal. But then Winston starts peeing on their pee and he's an English Bulldog with big pees so it's getting a little gross. The deck is starting to look quite yucky. My husband, Brad, by all rights, should maybe go out there and shovel. But what do I find him doing????? (oh yeah, I got the camera out) ~

Okay, so he did shovel some of it. But he also peed in every corner that the dogs did. So I thought I'd take pictures of Winston peeing on Brad's pee; thought it might make an interesting, if not disgusting, blog. Guess what? Winston won't pee where Brad peed. Maybe there really is something to this Alpha-Dog thing!!!! Men!

Help

Ayla, I am laughing my a** off! OMG! I'm not sure I can stop! I thought things like this only happened to ME. I am so happy to see that this is a male thing… not a Susan thing! When I was only 25, I purchased a home and move into it with my soon-to-be husband. Moving day came, and our “professional” moving crew came to transport our items. The moving crew was all of my fiance's friends… a motley crew at that!! During the move, I heard some rustling in the front bushes. I was astonished and quite startled to see that it was Brian in the bushes… Brian in the bushes PEEING!! I wasn't happy. What kind of a neighborhood message were we sending out… “Hi, we're new here and our friends prefer to pee outside!” I was peeved. That wasn't the only time. My husband (now my ex… I wonder why) and his friends peed outside ALL THE TIME. My favorite times were when we pulled up the driveway, and my ex go out of the car and peed outside instead of walking 20 steps through the garage and into the house. Now that's lazy! Glad to see a common thread. The picture is TOO funny, and I'm still laughing!
Thanks, Ayla… you made my day.
Hugs!
