What was the last experience that took your breath away?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 17, 2008:
I am obviously going to be one of those ridiculously doting Grandmothers. Up until three days ago I watched the video I took of Jimmy cooing and smiling on my cell phone and it never stopped thrilling me. Now he's here and when I look into his little face it takes my breath away. I see all three of my boys faces in his, as well as his Mommy's. When he smiles he looks just like his Daddy did at that age. His ears stick out at the top just the tiniest bit just like Jesse's. His forehead wrinkles up when he is concentrating just like Derek's did. It's like having all three of my babies back in my arms at once. <sigh of contentment>

Help

Oooo, it sounds so wonderful, being a grandma. You’re so lucky to have your little Jimmy with you. Three babies condensed down into one. I can see why you’re sighing….I’m sighing just thinking about it.
When I was in the OBGYN’s office the other day to hear my bad news, there was this little baby boy in there, and he was so adorable. He was still struggling a bit to focus his eyes on things and his movements were uncoordinated, but it made me realize how much he needed his mommy, just like Jimmy needs his grandmommy with the beautiful golden hair. I think it’s wonderful that you can see all of your boys in him. He’s a little miracle sent to you just in time to spend Christmas together. So sigh away, it’s worth it.
