Update on Joey

I have had quite a few friends ask about Joey so I thought I'd give a little update with some new pictures. I can't get over how quickly he is growing. Here he is invading Winston's space again but if you compare picture one with picture two you can see how much he has grown ~
Joey Today 04/14/08
Joey about three weeks ago, maybe four.
Poor Winston. His ears, neck, and face are constantly being chewed on by those sharp little puppy teeth.
Here is a picture with Joey standing by Cujo. They were the same height when Joey first came home with us. Cujo is not as tolerant as Winston and kicks Joey's butt daily. All four pounds of him. He makes Joey yipe and puts him into submission posture easily. It's rather amusing, although sometimes I have to scold Cujo when he gets carried away.

Joey is still a cry baby. My friend, D.D. says he's just a "talker". Maybe so but it's like having a whiney two year old in the house. He whines when he wants picked up and then whines while I'm petting him, even though he feels relaxed. He cries when he is happy to see me come home. The only time he is quiet is when he is sleeping. He certainly has his very own unique personality.
Joey can sit, shake, and is learning to stay (slowly). I think he's pretty smart. He went to the door when he had to poo for the first time yesterday. Of course, he came in and peed on the floor directly after I finished praising him. Sigh.
He's a good boy. I love him. He's not a replacement for Zoey but I have a feeling we're going to be very good friends and he already has a very special place in my heart. He follows me everywhere I go, my little shadow.

I agree with Ruth. I can hear Winston's “people voice” right now sounding a bit like Eeyore. Joey's so cute, and he'll be a handful, I'm sure. for quite a while to come.

He is handsome … and I'm sure a handful, probably like a little bratty boy. I think you'll having a lot of growing pains at your house, what with your step-daughter and now Joey. Remember to find time for yourself when you can - HIDE. He is so lovely. I'm going to copy one of these pics to put next to Zoe's pic that I still have on my desk.
Wow - look at all of these comments! I'm in heaven. Hey, thank you everyone for stopping in and checking Joey out. I'm glad y'all think he's as cute as I do. You know, I hadn't noticed how big the ears are -whoa they are big!!!!
